CAT DIARY
Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hashor some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.

In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. Ihad hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due tothe power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means, and how to use it tomy advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow - but this time at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.. .. . . for now. . .

Hope you got a good chuckle~ this was from another email I received...I take no credit.

I got that e-mail too - it has enough truth in it to be hilarious! You cat has the same disgusted look on it's face as our gets when family members do things like make her wear glasses.

So, so, funny! And so true. I'm reading a book right now and it says that because we feed them, love them, play with them etc., Dogs think we must be God. But because we feed them, love them, play with them etc., cats think they must be God.

They're both loveable in different ways for sure!

Cute post! I thought as I was reading it, "Gosh, she's never mentioned that they have a dog, a cat and a bird!" I was wondering how on earth you could handle four children, PLUS three pets! LOL

That is really good! I love my two kitties and I keep trying to convince myself they love me, too--but I really think it's more that they just know I am the food source--HA! Your kitty is a beauty!

You forgot about the part where the dog goes into the trash can and finds a diaper and eats it. Because it's his favorite thing.

I think my cat is more like this:
"da da da duh duh duh dum....oh oh oh something SHINY"
"ATTACK the immobile CATNIP MOUSE...ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK"
mirror: "hello Beautiful, oh, you're pretty, hello...hello?"
"ATTACK the immobile CATNIP MOUSE...ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK"
"time for a nap...where's the sunny spot?"
yup, sounds about right...
don't forget to call me to hear the good news!

I've read that once before, and I love it! That is hilarious! And some of the reasons I don't own a cat. ;)

Very cute - I tried not to chuckle - it hurts my chest and throat too much. I am alive but barely. Even typing on your blog aches. Who knew I'd live to 38 and then succumb to a cold? Woah is me....

I think I see a faint light in the distance...

Cute picture of the cat. I'm personally a dog person, but only because I'm allergic to cats.

LOL, that cat looks like a pretty content kitty, lying about the house allowing such treatment by it's captors.

I'm afraid a kitty would not be left alone in our home. Our toddler would take it upon himself to hold the kitty, squeeze the kitty and otherwise torment the poor thing till it moved out and sought refuge with some childless neighbors. Hence, no kitty.
