A Few Things...

I have to Share a Secret... I found THIS website and it is amazing. I know I shared the Kraft Website previously. (here and here) This site is much better, in my opinion of course. You can search for recipes with many search options, save to a cookbook, save to a grocery list, organize your grocery list by the grocery store aisles, add and subtract from your list. It has a nutrition section for healthy eating with interactive tools, a fitness planner, a teen section and a calcium quiz. Basically it has everything. It does require you to sign up to save all of your info, but it is worth it! Go check it out and enjoy!

BookMooch is a community for exchanging used books. I have not had a chance to dive in to this site, but it sounds really great. If someone else has any experience with this, I am looking for any input~ good or bad.

Here's a few pictures from Hubby's Birthday. We had a wonderful time! We had some family join us for dinner and a Coldstone Creamery Cake! Thank you for all the well wishes, it was very thoughtful of everyone to stop by and wish my guy some Birthday wishes!

Not to leave ya on a sad note, but a really good friend of mine had surgery yesterday~ please remember her in your prayers today~ she has 5 children at home waiting for her to get better.

Sending warm wishes to your friend for a speedy recovery!

You are such a cute family. You should be on the cover of a magazine!

I agree... you should be on a cover of a magazine. Happy birthday Hubby.

Speedy recovery for your friend.

I love your cross in the background with your blessed palms from church. Am I seeing that correctly? Of should I start drinking coffee in the morning?

Love that last picture! So how are their cakes? We just got a Coldstone in our area and I haven't been there yet. I saved that site also. I want to check it out more later. BTW, I just did three challenges!

Looks like a very lucky Dad to have all those ladies around him. Looks like a good b-day.

Well wishes to your friend, a mom with 5 kids needs prayer and support even without the surgery. =)

I love the bookmooch! I love to read so this is a wonderful place for me. I have been inactive from it for a few months however, I haven't had any bad luck with it!

Hoping for all the best for your friend. Of course, I will add her to my prayers!

Hi, Girlymom!

Thanks for the info on those web sites, I need all the help I can get with meal planning! Also, we have tons of books, and the thought of swapping them is pretty cool!

The birthday photos are so cute, looks like a good time was had by all! (the cake looks delicious and sinfully chocolately, too, I might add!) *drool*

Prayers and best wishes to your friend for a speedy recovery. Take care!

I did two of the challenges this weekend and just got the post up. I won't be able to put the pics up till tomorrow though.

I hope your friend gets better quickly and can go home to those babies (really it doesn't matter their ages, they're still going to be babies to her.)

I'll keep your friend and her family in my prayers. I hope the surgery is successful and she is well on her way to recovering. I can only imagine . . .

Happy B-Day to your hubby! You all look like you had a blast. I love the pics!!! You ARE such a beautiful family--apparently I am one of many who think this!

Thanks for sharing those sites. I'm eager to learn more about the book exchange site. I'm such a book hound.

You have such a great looking family!

Thanks for the secrets. I'm excited to look at them.

Oh, and I am so embarrassed that you had to read my whiney post about Jon being gone. You are the last person that I should whine to...I know you had to deal with so much more than I ever will in that category. Thanks for the words of encouragement though, even if they did make me blush from shame. :)
