Bagels and Saints

"Mom, me too."

"Moom, me too!"

"MoooooM- Annie want one too!!"

"What would you like Annie? "

"A donut."

So my Hubby said the sweetest thing to me last night, it made me feel happy, giddy, reassured, strong, proud and yet a bit weird. He said...
"It takes three miracles to become a Saint- and you have four."

I thought about this for a moment, felt pretty happy, a bit giddy...Wow, this is how my Hubby sees me?!! I'm feeling a tad reassured that I'm doing good things, I am a good mom, I do work hard (can you feel it?) Yeah, I'm feeling strong, I can do anything...I am Mom after all, don't we Mom's do it all? I am proud of being a Mom. To be a Mom is to be so many things. So why do I feel weird about being related to a Saint? I'm not near that...yet!

Good job, Hubby, for appreciating how hard your wife works.

And too, too funny about the bagel/donut. I could add my own "I want one, too!" to the chorus!

How nice! I'm pretty sure my husband would describe me as less than that, so congrats!

I think it is wonderful that he is so observant and so comfortable with complimenting you! (some guys are not!)

I'm with previous comment - I don't think I would get that Saint title from MY hubby!

Thanks for popping by my blog. Hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things and can catch up with everyone! A lot has happened to everyone in the past month - wow - neat to go back and read what you've been up to!

Have a good one!

Hi! I came here through Kellan's blog. That is really nice of your hubby to recognize all your hard work. And the pics in the post below are so sweet! Nice to meet you. If you don't mind I'll probably be back.

Awww, what a nice hubby to recognize all you do for him/your family! He's a keeper! ;0)

I LOVE bagels, too! Toasted, with chive and onion cream cheese. Mmmmm.

Hey, Girlymom!

I'm here, I'm here!! I must have been posting my blog right when you left your comment, cuz I posted and as soon as I did, I immediately had two comments. I'm like, "Wow! That was fast!" Weird!

What your husband said was very sweet and so great that he understands and appreciates all that you do, how cool is that? Hey, if he thinks you're a saint, run with it! :) You are a great mom, too!

Your husband sounds very sweet. And you should feel giddy, that is a great compliment.
I saw your comment on A Mom's Life so I thought I would drop by. You have a beautiful family. Our kids are similarly spaced. Mine are 2,4,6 and 8. It was nice stopping by, have a great day.

How fortunate you are to have someone, especially your husband, acknowledge your amazing accomplishments. It makes it all worth it! Yeah, I'd say you're a mom who exudes "saintness."

Today is my day to honor moms who do it all . . . I need to construct an official award for this. Just know that if I had one you'd get it!

Awwww! What a nice man you have!! You do have four miracles and I'm glad he sees you and your kids that way.

On the bagles, when I was about 7 I got what I thought was a donut at a breakfast buffet in Vegas. I was SO disappointed when I bit into it. I didn't eat another one until I was in high school. :)

Of course you are a saint! And I have four miracles too!
I don't think baby is going to have a hard time moving out of our room...I think I am!
Google 'Poogles' and you will get a wide range of what a 'poogle' looks like. They can look like a beagle or a poodle or something in between! But very cute! I will post pictures as soon as she has them! :)

I think your husband deserves a huge hug for that sweet comment! Raising four beautiful little girls, comes pretty close to being a saint in my book. Seriously, I can tell from your posts that your a really good person, a wonderful mother and a woman with a good heart and soul. Equal a saint to me.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and leaving such kind and supportive comments. It means a lot to me!! More than you know.

I love the picture on your blog. Your girls really are so adorable, and your Christmas picture is beautiful.

Have a wonderful night.

That was a wonderful compliment and ... you are a Saint!! I know how hard it is to handle 4 children - any children - you are a Saint and he is a great husband.

Thanks for your support today - you have always been a great friend - I am so lucky to have met you. See you soon. Kellan

Four young children so close in age? Yes, sainthood is a certainty. And it is wonderful that your husband acknowledges it.
