Kinda a Strange Post

I wasn't sure I would sit and write today. I don't have the time, I have a huge mess around here, but then I thought about all the wonderful people I have met through my blog and their lives. Do any of us really have the time? No...we make the time. So I am sitting here waiting on the washing machine, with 5 minutes before I have to make lunch sandwiches and I just want to say I am sorry and thank you.

First I am sorry to all the wonderful people who stop by here and leave comments, as I have been very neglectful in responding to your blogs as well. I would like to make a promise to visit and comment more often, but I won't. I know that as spring arrives, as it gets nicer outside, I will be busier than ever and wanting to be outside and enjoying the wind in my face. Ideally I would be able to juggle having kids with bubbles, chalk, scraped knees, bumps and bruises and my wireless laptop on my lap...but as of today I have not been declared Superwoman. So I would like to say Thank You to all of you who haven't given up on me, who still stop and visit, even to just say Hello. Please know that I appreciate it more than you know. I will be offline again for a few days. I am not sure how long, but my Grandfather just passed away last night and there will be quite a bit of activity going on. I would like to make the time to sit and blog, to come up with some clever, funny, uplifting thing to share. Instead I leave you with this strange post. I am off to celebrate the life of a 95 year young man, who is finally at peace. Peace be with You as well.

OK~ I goofed, his Birthday is tomorrow and he turns 92. I thought 95 wasn't right and after talking to my Mom, we determined He will be 92 tomorrow. Oops!

I don't think anybody can blame you for not having the time. I blog at work and get caught up on blogs here too. I do not blog on the weekends, because I can't find the time to either.

Hugs to you in your time of sorrow. I pray for you and your family! I am so sorry for your loss.

My sympathies on the passing of your grandfather. I understand where you are coming from with regard to the comments of your readers. I feel so guilty when I don't' personally respond but I have had to learn to let it go sometimes. My thoughts and prayers are with your family!

Awww, Girlymom, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Grandfather. I hope it was a long life well-lived! And just know this--it isn't about reciprocity. I love it when you stop by and leave me a comment, but I will come here to visit you even if you NEVER do! It makes me smile to see your sweet girls and all of your family fun. Yours is a happy type of blog. It should never be a source of stress--at least that's the way I see it. You write when you can/want, and we'll be here to say hi :)! I'll keep your family in my prayers as you head off to celebrate your Grandfather's life.

I am so sorry for your loss. Making it to 95 is quite a triumph of its own.
I am dealing with my own loss as we are struggling to adjust to putting my father in a nursing home. I know how hard it is to juggle everything, and blogging is definitely the one that doesn't make the cut.
Take time for you. We'll be here when you get back.
Hugs!

I am so sorry for your grandfather's passing - 95 years is amazing!

No need to apologize here regarding blogging - we all do what we can.

I wish you and your family the best during this time. I hope you can be comforted by many happy memories of your grandfather. Take care.

I am sorry for your loss.
I feel the same way you do. With the nice weather here it is much more difficult to find the time. Just think of me as one of those friends that you can alway pick up where you left off no matter how much time goes by.
I will be keeping your family in my prayers.

I have noticed that I am having a harder time getting on and writing on my blog. And I have gotten REALLY bad at commenting on others as well. It's getting so much harder now that we can be swimming!! That is time consuming (but a great excuse!!)

P.S. We are about 2 hours from Ft. Myers.

Like Courtney, I blog a lot from work, on my lunch hour. And I try to stay off the computer on the weekends as much as I can. It is really hard to juggle everything, and visiting others' blogs just seems to always be last on the priority list. I think we all understand. :)

I'm so sorry about your grandfather.

Eh, don't apologize for not commenting on everyone's blog! There's so many people that I find it hard to read everyone's blog every day anyway. Have fun in the sun!!!

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I feel for you, as I lost my grandfather this February on his birthday.

And as far as blogging goes, well, I'm with you there too! I have been very neglectful of my blog and visiting others as well. Same reasons!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi! Have a great summer, in case I don't hear from you!!! I will totally understand!!!
