The girls love it! They now have their place, their spot, their room. To answer a few questions,
~No I didn't get the paint off the floor. We decided to just get the rest done and worry about that another day. The majority of the paint is under the bed anyways and we are looking for a rug, so problem solved...no more paint!
~Yes I painted the polka dots, each and every one of them. I used cookie cutters for the two smaller sizes. For the big circles I traces the top to a bowl and then painted it by hand. I am not a talented painter~ so don't look too close!
~With 4 children...I got it done during naps, during their tv time, during breakfast, lunch, dinner, basically anytime I could find that I wasn't needed at their side I was upstairs getting something done, little by little. My mom came over and watched the kids last Thursday and Friday. Saturday morning they were busy playing, baby in exersaucer...me getting a good workout up and down the steps. In the end it was a lot of work, but it's done. Now I am finishing the toyroom and the backsteps, still not happy with the color on the steps, but it will do for now. Anymore questions?
This room was supposed to be Molly's new room. When we moved her in here by herself, she freaked and convinced Lolo to move in with her. I agreed to it. Now that the room is done, Molly is now trying to convince Lolo out of it...good luck in your endeavors Molly! Lolo isn't going anywhere- anytime soon! Although little Annie has a big room to herself, with her little toddler bed and 2 empty twin beds. How she managed to get this deal? I am still trying to figure that one out! Dels has her own room too~ go figure! Hmmm
She likes it, she really likes it!

OMGosh! I LOVE those polka dots! I may have to steal that for my daughters room!
Wow you did a great job!
FABULOUS!
Oh, that room is just darling! I love, love, love that quilt...really, I would not mind HAVING that quilt! And the polka dot walls are even cuter with the bed all put together. Love the colors you used for the walls and dots. Lucky girls!
♥ It's so cute! You're awesome doing all those circles by hand!!!
when I did my polka dot bathroom I painted removable contact paper, then cut the circles out (I used a die cut machine, but you could do it by hand) then just stuck the stickers to the wall. I could adjust them, etc, and theory is they'll peel right off when I decide I'm done with the dots i have a friend who did the same thing, but made stars. so if you ever get the inclination again... you could try that way. but your way looks fantastic, too.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! You are amazing!! I would never have the patience to take on that many tasks at once!! Great job!
