Charging Batteries

I had all the intentions of sitting down this morning with some new pictures to share. I grabbed the camera and went to the room of choice that is next in line to be painted, open it up, turn it on, damn...dead battery! So you are all going to have to sit and wait with me while the battery charges! I promise pictures though, because that keeps me honest and motivated...

I have been bit by the remodel bug. I have my list out, I have my paint swatches, I have the tape to repair the holes...I'm ready! Now I just need paint. We host an Annual St. Patrick's Day Party here at the house, this is year #4. It's a great time, we have a lot of fun with planning it and with hosting it. Everyone brings something, wears green, drinks green...you get the idea! Our party is on the 15th...I have a lot of work to do before then, so if my posts are a tad shorter you know why~ I'm painting something, somewhere!

~Molly and Lolo's new bedroom is the project of the day~
Pictures to follow...

Oh I love remodeling projects!!! There is something so fun about rebeautiying your house! When the batteries are recharged, post pics!

ya feel like coming here to paint a few walls? I despise painting! Mainly because I am super sloppy and always get paint where it isn't supposed to be!!!

Your St. Patty's Party sounds like a hoot!

That bug has been at my house too - I'm ready to tear down some paper that needed to be gone a few years ago! Good luck - can't wait to see the pictures.

I wish I could be bit by the remodel bug. I think I have been bit by the "sit on your butt and do absolutely nothing" bug.
Good luck on the prep for your party.

Oh, I can't wait for the pix--the ones that you've already posted of previous house projects have been great! I'm going to post some house pix as soon as I get my newly-framed prints back and up on the walls. I didn't take any before pix last spring when I started having the house projects done because I was too embarrassed..HA! So, what time should we all be at your house for the St. Patty's Day party :)...

I had the same thing happen with my camera today...frustrating.

Maybe you should paint what you saw instead of taking a picture. I mean, that's they could do before photography was invented. Let's see the skills!

Hi,

I know how you feel, busy over here too. I love blogging but honestly, I spend way more time on it than I really should! Good luck with your painting, I don't know how you do it with all the little ones and your schedule, you must be really organized girl! Don't worry about commenting back, just get your stuff done. Looking forward to seeing your pictures!

I think this never-ending winter is what's causing the need for projects. I've started the NEVER ENDING project of painting all of our woodwork. I'm only half way done with the entry way. If I keep it up I'll be finished by the time Lulu graduates from college!!!

Can't wait to see your pictures :)

A party sounds fun - painting doesn't sound so fun, but I can't wait to see the changes going on over there at your house! See you soon. Kellan
