Dels and her new toy!
It hit me today, she is now 16 weeks old! Where did the first 15 weeks go? She shouldn't be old enough to sit in this toy (even if she is supported by a blanket around her) She is smiling, cooing, "talking" and making all kinds of faces! She has been off her acid reflux meds since Thanksgiving and she really is doing great. She is a totally different baby when she eats now. She is very calm, peaceful and she smiles at me during and after eating. For those who read earlier posts about her bowels- she's all better now. I haven't had a sip of milk since and she hasn't had any problems. Not positive that was what was bothering her, but since I haven't had milk, she has been fine. (I love milk, this is me pouting) So today's post is for Dels- she slept long enough for Hubby and I to get a second coat of paint on the walls last night...and Hubby even got a coat of paint on the woodwork around the floor and the windows. The room is getting closer and closer to being finished- Yippee! On top of her power nap, Dels also slept IN HER BASSINET from about 12:30 (when we finally went to bed) till about 4:45- then ate and went back to sleep! She woke up around 8:00 this morning, so did the rest of the tired crew around here. She's back down IN HER BED for her morning nap now. If only I can get her to stick to this sleep schedule, life will be sooo much easier. So- I am proud of Dels, proud of Hubby and myself for our paint work and just darn happy about the sleep I got! Back to painting- there's white woodwork all over the house, now that we painted part of it, the rest looks dingy...gotta keep chugging along. I'll post some finished pictures when we get it all put back together.
Happy Friday to everyone.

awww look at those cute lil legs! I WANT ONE!!! OK, maybe not yet, but someday...
Thanks for calling yesterday, it was really nice to chat...went over on my minutes last month (oops) partly calling you guys/mom&dad but also setting up stuff for the house and people needing calls back for the rental.
Lil Dels looks awesome, great to hear she's feeling better!
love ya!

Congrats on the good night sleep! I love those toys for my babies too

I love the pics of your daughter. That toy was a life-saver for me when my kids were younger. I would put my son in there when I showered, cooked, cleaned...you name it!

You know how some people say that a baby "has a face ONLY a mother could love?" Not yours!! She is simply adorable. :-)

She is a little doll baby! I'm glad she is doing so well! You are so lucky to have that sweet baby! Take care. Kellan
Dels looks so happy sitting in her bouncy chair, I love that little smirk on her face, like she's saying, "Hey mom! Look at me! Look what I can do!". Too cute!
Happy for you that you got some good shut-eye, it's amazing what rest can do for you, isn't it? I remember those sleep deprivation days when my boys were babies,..it's so hard sometimes, I give you lots of credit! Good for you and the hubby with all your painting, my goodness you two are ambitious! I don't know how you do it with four little ones under foot. Instead of Girlymom I think we'll have to start calling you Supermom! :) Take care and happy Friday to you , too!
Awesome sleeping little one! Hope that continues...
Do you think she's lactose intolerant? It seems to be on the rise - several babies I know are.
Happy painting!
Heidi
she is gorgeous...time flies...babies grow up too fast!
Have a great weekend!
She's darling.
Wish my 10 month old slept like she did. What a good girl she is for you!
Hooray for sleep (and painting)!! My baby girl is turning 7 months on Monday and it is KILLING me! It seems like jsut yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.
Gosh that baby is cute - good thing you made so many because they are just all too sweet!
It just goes so fast doesn't it? She looks like such a big girl in those pictures!
Ok, this is me being jealous. Jealous of your sleeping baby.
Evie's toy like that is a LIFESAVER around here. She likes it and I LOVE it. I remember thinking how little and scrawny she looked when we had to stick blankets around her so she wouldn't flop over. Sigh. She's big now and doesn't need any of that. It's gone by WAY too fast.
Your little Dels is adorable. I love how very pleased she looks with her new toy!
What a little cutie! And YAY for good sleep and completed projects!
Oh, my youngest is two, but I can still remember those sleep-starved days where I needed a nap in the worst way.
What a doll! She looks so proud of herself in her big girl toy. So sweet.
I miss the days when Porter used to play in his little saucer. She is such a cute baby girl!
