I have the Swiffer Wet Jet. I bought this when I lived in a house full of linoleum and thought it worked really well on that floor. Now I live in a house will all old wood floors~ it works ok. I have the wood floor cleaner for it, but it seems to leave a film. I don't know if that is from the previous cleaning solution on the floor or the floor itself. I was hoping for better results though. It is handy, it's much easier than the old mop and bucket, but I want my shine!
Who am I kidding, I just want a floor without crumbs!
On another Swiffer note, has anyone tried the Swiffer Dusters and what do you think?

The dusters are okay. I use them on my miniblinds. That's about it though.
Hope you have a great day :)
I like the Wetjet too, but I have vinyl flooring. I want wood though! I've used the dusters and they work all right but here's a post on what I really like.

I have used the dusters and I don't know if I wasn't using them right or what but I couldn't get them to pick up anything. It probably didn't help that the dust was 3 inches thick! Kidding.
Just wanted to stop by and say have a great weekend, Girlymom and family. I like the Swiffer Wets; they're great for when I don't have much time or inclination :)! I personally like the Swiffer dusters for my blinds, but also for getting under the TV and in small places--and I like the one with the long extension handle for ceiling fans. Talk to ya Sunday night or Monday...
I like both of them. Neither are as good as the old fashioned way, but they work for quick messes and for the 12 months in between doing it the old fashioned way. ;) The dusters don't quite swoop around things like they show in the ads, sometimes you still have to pick things up to dust around and behind them, but they do pick up dust.
I use the Swiffer wet clothes with my regular sweeper more often than the WetJet - I could never tell exactly where the thing was spraying and it drove me nuts. I do like the dusters, especially for getting into tight spots and the extension handle is great for cobwebs and dusting light fixtures and fans. I think it works well as long as the dust isn't (ahem) too thick... :)
I just got a swiffer wet jet, and I love it! I haven't used the dusters. Might be good in my house though, the dust starts collecting as soon as I'm done dusting!
I love your grocery store story! Made me start my day with a laugh!
What a cute baby you have!
The Swiffer is so-so. I still have to get down on my hands and knees to really get my floor clean. But at least I don't have to drag a mop and bucket around.
Swiffer is great! Mine broke awhile back and I haven't replaced it yet. :(
The dusters are fabulous!
I don't have the swiffer dusters, but my mom does. She really likes them, and she's a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning. For my floors now, I just use a thick washcloth wrung out with water, and attach it to the end of my swiffer. It works great, it's cheap. BTW, I have Pergo.
i just have a regular swiffer, not a wet jet, and i find it doesn't work well enough for my large floors, or for lots of spots. it will spiffy the floior up a bit, but not get it really clean
I love the dusters! They work great on fake plants, to clean fans and light fixtures, and really anything that needs to be dusted.
I use viniger, water and a dry mop on my hard wood floors and it works extremely well!!!!!
I love the swiffer dusters though! Love, love, love them!
I love my Swiffer...I use it all the time. I like both the wet and dry Swiffer...I get very distressed if the box is empty when I go to use it!

I have to agree, the dry swiffers are good for tight spaces, behind the tv, ceiling fans, etc. But, I still use a cloth and furniture polish for tables and dressers.

Thanks for the reminder.
I need to clean my kitchen floor
Love the dust swifter, but not a good idea to use the wet swifter on wood floors. I damp mop with Murphy's oil soap for wood floors, still shines:)
Friend of mine had same problem with wood floors. I think there is a Murphy's Soap that is suppose to be like the wet jet.
I like the Swiffer dusters but I usual spray pledge or something on it. We must have resistant dust or something.
i love my wet jet cause it is quick and easy. i use the dusters too. they are easy for the kids to use.
I have only used the dry Swiffer, but never the dusters or the wet one. Does the wet one work well on tile? The dusters just seem too expensive when I can handle the dust just fine with what I've got. Maybe for the ceiling fans, though...
Love the dusters! The ONLY way to clean blins in my book!
