My dining room chairs have cloth seats. Can we say cloth seat, small children... not a good idea. I have recovered the seats a few times. My latest attempt I decided to try Scotchgarding them. It was too easy, just spray, let dry and you're done. I was a bit skeptical that it would actually protect against some of the things the kids can spill, but so far it has held up great. A glass of milk wiped right up, no staining, no spots, it was an eye opener. So then I got to thinking, can I Scotchgard my whole house? Scotchgard answered that question for me...

We used scotchgard on our carpets when we moved into our house. It has saved us so many times. Not just from the kids either! Just ask Hallie - she had an incident with a strawberry daiquiri and a certain set of stairs!

Wow! I didn't even know that product existed over the counter. I thought only the furniture stores could do it!
And I had no idea it could be used for so many things! I wonder if I could spray it on Aaron's pants to keep them clean (he's a mechanic...) Thanks for the tip!
I didn't know you could use it on so much either - I'll be buying a can!
wow this was an eye opener! these are some great uses. can you use it on your kids?!?!
♥ I didn't have a clue all those things could be scotch garded! Crazy... I have cloth chairs too and I did this with mine...

I made sure to get thick enough plastic that it wasn't going to rip and it was very inexpensive too...
I'd Scotchgard my teeth.
Um... good idea
